Itinerary
Day 1 :
Arrival at Taharabad βLocal Sightseeing
Taharabad
Begin your journey by arriving in Nashik, the nearest major city with excellent rail and road connectivity. From Nashik, travel to Taharabad, the base town for Mangi-Tungi, located approximately 120 km away. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel or guesthouse. After settling in, begin your exploration with a visit to the Mangi-Tungi foothills, where you can view the towering twin peaks from below and explore the base temples and spiritual centers. In the evening, visit the Siddha Kshetra complex, known for its calm atmosphere and religious significance. Return to your hotel for dinner and rest. Overnight stay in Taharabad.
Mangi-Tungi Foothills:
The foothills of Mangi-Tungi offer a serene introduction to the spiritual atmosphere of this sacred site. Surrounded by natural beauty and dotted with smaller shrines and meditation spots, the area serves as the base for the trek to the twin peaks. Pilgrims often begin their journey with prayers here, taking in the tranquil environment before ascending the thousands of steps. The foothills are also a great place to observe the spiritual discipline and devotion of Jain pilgrims.
Siddha Kshetra Complex:
The Siddha Kshetra complex is a prominent spiritual hub located at the base of Mangi-Tungi. It features beautifully maintained temples, prayer halls, and the massive 108-foot idol of Lord Rishabhdev—the tallest Jain statue in the world. This complex serves as the heart of Jain pilgrimage in the region, drawing devotees from across India. Day 2 :
Trek to Mangi-Tungi Peaks & Jain Pilgrimage Experience
Taharabad
In the morning, after an early breakfast, set out for the trek to Mangi-Tungi hills, a sacred pilgrimage site for the Jain community. The twin peaks—Mangi (left) and Tungi (right)—are reached by climbing over 4,000 well-laid stone steps. Along the route, you’ll find numerous ancient cave temples, statues, and inscriptions, including the world’s tallest Jain idol of Lord Rishabhdev. The climb takes 3–4 hours and offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. After completing your spiritual trek and spending time at the summit, descend by afternoon and return to your hotel to rest. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Taharabad.
Jain idol of Lord Rishabhdev:
The colossal idol of Lord Rishabhdev at Mangi-Tungi is the tallest Jain statue in the world, standing at an impressive height of 108 feet. Carved from a single rock on the face of the mountain, this magnificent statue was inaugurated in 2016 and symbolizes peace, renunciation, and spiritual awakening. Lord Rishabhdev, the first Tirthankara of Jainism, is depicted in a meditative posture, inspiring devotees and visitors with his calm presence. The idol not only holds deep religious significance but also showcases the remarkable craftsmanship and devotion of the Jain community.
Day 3 :
Temple Visit & Departure
Taharabad
Early in the morning, after breakfast, check out from your hotel. Before departing, you may choose to visit any local temples or small shrines in Taharabad or relax by the nearby hills for a final dose of serenity. Depart by afternoon for your return journey, carrying with you the spiritual and scenic memories of Mangi-Tungi.
Kindly note that names of hotels mentioned in the proposed hotels only indicate that our rates have been based on the usage of these hotels, and it is not to be construed that accommodation is confirmed at these hotels until we convey such confirmation to you. We reserve the right to change the same due to availability issues with the hotel or unavoidable circumstances. In that case, we may provide alternative similar accommodation and shall pass on the difference of rates (supplement/reduction whatever applicable) to you.
Our offer is based on the usage of base category rooms at the mentioned hotels (unless specified otherwise). If this category of rooms is not available, we shall try to confirm accommodation in the next available higher category of rooms and shall advise supplementary cost involved while conveying the status.
π½οΈ MEALS:
The menus are pre-set menus provided for breakfast/lunch/dinner on the tour as mentioned under each Tour itinerary and inclusions and exclusions as committed at the time of confirmation.
In standard/Budget category of hotels, the meals preferences are veg meals unless specified and in Deluxe/Super Deluxe and Luxury category of hotels/resort the meals are a mixture of veg and non-veg preferences.
Mostly buffet meals are served during the tour, but depending upon the less occupancy and group size Ala Carte meals may be served by the hotels. No claim can be made for the meal which guest has missed and not utilized.
π ITINERARY CHANGES:
For the comfort and convenience of guests, there could be some changes or amendments in the itinerary. We will try to advise you of these amendments prior to the start of the tour or on tour. In the event a guest misses any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due to delay on their part, they will not be entitled to claim a refund of the same.
The timings mentioned in the day schedule in the itinerary may vary depending upon the road conditions, particular destination visits en route, meals, climatic conditions, particular health conditions of the guests, and timings of sightseeing places and monuments.
π TRANSPORT:
We normally use A/C Sedan such as Etios/Desire Innova/Crysta/Tempo Travellers/2X2 A/C Coaches for our tours depending upon the group size and preferences of the travel. The drivers of the vehicles are bound by specific rules like maximum driving hours within a day, rest period per day, etc. Clients will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel. In case any of the sightseeing schedules are missed due to delays caused by the client, the same will not be refunded to the client under any circumstances.
Please note that AC will not work in Hills and no claims to this regard shall be entertained.

•50% advance to be deposited at the time of booking confirmation.
•Balance 50% before 15 days from the Tour Starts.
