After a thrilling day, return to your hotel in Gir for dinner and an overnight stay.

Buddhist Cave Sites (Junagadh):

The Buddhist cave sites in Junagadh, Gujarat, are a historical treasure, dating back to around the 2nd century BCE. These rock-cut caves, located at the Uparkot Fort, were used by Buddhist monks for meditation and residence. They include intricate carvings, inscriptions, and the famous "Viharas" (monastic cells). Gir National Park:

Gir National Park, located in Saurashtra, Gujarat, is the only place in the world where Asiatic lions are found in the wild. After your safari, proceed to visit the sacred Somnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. Later, visit nearby historical monuments including the Ahilya Temple and the Sun Temple. In the evening, return to your hotel in Gir for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

The Somnath Temple, located in Prabhas Patan near Veraval in Gujarat, is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, the holiest shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva.
