Itinerary
Day 1 :
Ahmedabad – Sayla

Upon arrival at Ahmedabad, you will be warmly greeted by our tour representative who will assist with a smooth transfer to your hotel. After check-in, leave your luggage at the hotel and get ready to begin your journey. Later, check out from the Ahmedabad hotel and drive to Sayla. Upon arrival in Sayla, check in to your hotel and freshen up. In the afternoon, visit the Rann of Kutch Desert Wildlife Sanctuary, known for its unique salt marsh ecosystem and rare wildlife species. After exploring the sanctuary, return to your hotel in Sayla for an overnight stay.
Rann of Kutch Desert Wildlife Sanctuary:
The Rann of Kutch Desert Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the Kutch district of Gujarat, covering over 5,000 square kilometers. It is one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in India and is known for its unique salt marsh ecosystem. The sanctuary is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the endangered Indian wild ass, along with other species like desert foxes, hyenas, and numerous migratory birds. It is a key habitat for the conservation of the wild ass, which is the main attraction of the sanctuary.
Day 2 :
Sayla – Gir (via Junagadh)

In the morning after breakfast, check out from the Sayla hotel and begin your drive toward Gir. On the way, stop at Junagadh to explore some of its most iconic attractions including the ancient Uparkot Fort, the 3rd-century BC Ashoka rock edicts, grand royal mausoleum complexes, historic Buddhist cave sites, and the fascinating palace museum housing Nawabi treasures. After sightseeing in Junagadh, continue your journey to Gir. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel, enjoy a relaxing lunch, and prepare for an exciting safari experience in Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary, home to the famous Asiatic lions. After a thrilling day, return to your hotel in Gir for dinner and an overnight stay.
Buddhist Cave Sites (Junagadh):
The Buddhist cave sites in Junagadh, Gujarat, are a historical treasure, dating back to around the 2nd century BCE. These rock-cut caves, located at the Uparkot Fort, were used by Buddhist monks for meditation and residence. They include intricate carvings, inscriptions, and the famous "Viharas" (monastic cells). The caves offer a glimpse into ancient Buddhist architecture and practices.
Gir National Park:
Gir National Park, located in Saurashtra, Gujarat, is the only place in the world where Asiatic lions are found in the wild. Established in 1965, the park spans over 1,400 square kilometers of dry deciduous forest, grasslands, and scrublands. Besides the majestic lions, Gir is home to diverse wildlife, including leopards, wild boars, antelopes, and over 300 species of birds. The park is a major conservation success and attracts tourists for its safaris, offering visitors a chance to spot the elusive Asiatic lions in their natural habitat.
Day 3 :
Gir National Park and Somnath Excursion

In the morning after breakfast, drive into the deciduous forests of Gir for another safari adventure, giving you more opportunities to witness wildlife in its natural habitat. After your safari, proceed to visit the sacred Somnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. Later, visit nearby historical monuments including the Ahilya Temple and the Sun Temple. In the evening, return to your hotel in Gir for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.
Somnath Temple:
The Somnath Temple, located in Prabhas Patan near Veraval in Gujarat, is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, the holiest shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is an ancient temple, believed to be first constructed in the 5th century CE, and has been rebuilt several times after being destroyed by invasions. The temple is famous for its beautiful architecture, spiritual significance, and its location on the Arabian Sea coast, making it a prominent pilgrimage site for Hindus.
Sun Temple (Modhera):
The Sun Temple in Modhera, Gujarat, is dedicated to the Sun God, Surya. Built in the 11th century during the reign of King Bhima I of the Solanki dynasty, the temple is renowned for its architectural brilliance and exquisite stone carvings. The temple complex is divided into three main parts: the Surya Kund (a stepwell), the Sabha Mandap (hall), and the Garbha Griha (sanctum).
Day 4 :
Gir – Ahmedabad (Departure)

In the morning after breakfast, check out from your hotel in Gir and begin your drive back to Ahmedabad. On arrival, proceed to the airport or railway station to board your return flight/train for your onward destination, carrying wonderful memories of your journey through Gujarat.

Our offer is based on the usage of base category rooms at the mentioned hotels (unless specified otherwise). If this category of rooms is not available, we shall try to confirm accommodation in the next available higher category of rooms and shall advise supplementary cost involved while conveying the status.
🍽️ MEALS:
The menus are pre-set menus provided for breakfast/lunch/dinner on the tour as mentioned under each Tour itinerary and inclusions and exclusions as committed at the time of confirmation.
In standard/Budget category of hotels, the meals preferences are veg meals unless specified and in Deluxe/Super Deluxe and Luxury category of hotels/resort the meals are a mixture of veg and non-veg preferences.
Mostly buffet meals are served during the tour, but depending upon the less occupancy and group size Ala Carte meals may be served by the hotels. No claim can be made for the meal which guest has missed and not utilized.
📅 ITINERARY CHANGES:
For the comfort and convenience of guests, there could be some changes or amendments in the itinerary. We will try to advise you of these amendments prior to the start of the tour or on tour. In the event a guest misses any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due to delay on their part, they will not be entitled to claim a refund of the same.
The timings mentioned in the day schedule in the itinerary may vary depending upon the road conditions, particular destination visits en route, meals, climatic conditions, particular health conditions of the guests, and timings of sightseeing places and monuments.
🚌 TRANSPORT:
We normally use A/C Sedan such as Etios/Desire Innova/Crysta/Tempo Travellers/2X2 A/C Coaches for our tours depending upon the group size and preferences of the travel. The drivers of the vehicles are bound by specific rules like maximum driving hours within a day, rest period per day, etc. Clients will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel. In case any of the sightseeing schedules are missed due to delays caused by the client, the same will not be refunded to the client under any circumstances.
Please note that AC will not work in Hills and no claims to this regard shall be entertained.
