Established in 1559 and consecrated in 1603, Cathedral of Bom Jesus is a masterful specimen of the brilliant engineering artistry of the Portuguese. The intricately carved gateways, ornate interiors and artistic wooden altars of this shrine have withstood the test of time.

Daman Fort at Nani Daman:

Nani Daman is situated on the bank of Daman Ganga river. It is a small fort with high and elegant stone walls, three bastions and two huge gateways. Spread over an area of about 12,250 sq m, the fort boasts two magnificent human figurines.

Dudhni Lake

The grand Dudhni lake is situated around 40 km away from Silvassa and 17 km away from Khanvel. This large waterfront is formed by the dam water of Madhuvan reservoir and is surrounded by small hillocks. This is a perfect place for a day's outing with family and friends.

Hirwa Van Gardens

Hirwavan garden is located at Piparia in Silvassa. A Very neat, clean & well maintained small garden. The garden has good greenery, beautiful plants & flowers and man-made waterfalls is the main attraction of this place. One can spend its time for some walking, chatting & relaxation.

Lion Safari Wildlife Park:

The park is a part of Dadra and Nagar Haveli Wildlife Sanctuary and also shares the neighbourhood with the Satmalia Deer Park. Built with an aim to preserve Asiatic lions, the Lion Safari Park remains open from 9 am to 5 pm and lies at a distance of 10 km from Silvassa.

Lady of Piety Church:

The Church of Our Lady of Piety was built by the Portuguese in the late 18th century and it is believed to have been built around 1886 or 1889. The Church is one of the oldest standing buildings in Silvassa. The most stunning structure of the church is the skillfully bedecked interior and outer arches.

Vanganga Lake:

The Vanganga Lake Garden is about 5 km away from the capital city of Silvassa. Spread across acres of greenery, it is a well maintained park with jogging tracks, Japanese style wooden bridges and thatched huts here and there.
