Day 1 :
Arrival in Bhubaneswar – Temple Tour & Cultural Start

Upon your arrival in Bhubaneswar, check in to your pre-booked hotel and take some time to relax. Start your exploration with a visit to the sacred Lingaraj Temple, a masterpiece of Kalinga architecture. Then, proceed to nearby Mukteswar Temple and Rajarani Temple, both known for their detailed carvings and serene ambiance. In the evening, visit Ekamra Haat, a handicrafts village offering authentic Odia art, textiles, and street food. Return back to your hotel. Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.
Lingaraj Temple:
Lingaraj Temple is a magnificent 11th-century temple located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, dedicated to Lord Shiva in his form as Harihara, a fusion of Shiva and Vishnu. It is one of the finest examples of Kalinga architecture, with a towering spire that rises to about 180 feet. The temple complex consists of over 100 smaller shrines surrounding the main sanctum. It is a major pilgrimage site, especially during the festival of Shivaratri, which draws thousands of devotees. The temple is built using sandstone and features exquisite carvings and sculptures. Bhubaneswar Sightseeing – Caves & Museums
Bhubaneswar
Early in the morning, after breakfast, begin your day by visiting the ancient rock-cut Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves, which date back to the 1st century BCE and offer a panoramic view of the city. Later, explore the Odisha State Museum and Tribal Museum to understand the region’s rich cultural heritage. In the afternoon, take a walk around Bindu Sagar Lake and explore the temple surroundings. As evening falls, you may attend the light and sound show (if operational) at Khandagiri or Dhauli. Return to your hotel. Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.
Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves:
Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves are ancient rock-cut caves located on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, dating back to the 1st century BCE. They were carved during the reign of King Kharavela of the Mahameghavahana dynasty and served as residences for Jain monks. Udayagiri has 18 caves, while Khandagiri has 15, featuring intricate carvings, inscriptions, and sculptures. The Hathi Gumpha inscription in Udayagiri is a major historical record of Kharavela’s reign. These caves offer a blend of spiritual significance, historical insight, and panoramic city views. Day 3 :
Day Trip to Dhauli, Nandankanan & Cuttack

Early in the morning, after breakfast, proceed for a day-long excursion. Begin at Dhauli Shanti Stupa, a peaceful Buddhist site marking the place of Ashoka’s transformation after the Kalinga War. Continue to Nandankanan Zoological Park, famous for its white tigers and safaris. Afterword, drive to Cuttack (around 30 km) to visit landmarks like Barabati Fort, Netaji Birthplace Museum, and Odisha Maritime Museum. In the evening, return back to Bhubaneswar. Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.
Nandankanan Zoological Park:
Nandankanan Zoological Park is a renowned zoo and botanical garden located on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It is famous for being the first zoo in India to join the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA). Spread over a vast area near Kanjia Lake, the park is home to a wide variety of animals, including the rare white tigers, Asiatic lions, and reptiles. Day 4 :
Departure from Bhubaneswar

After breakfast, check out from your hotel. If time allows before your departure, you may visit the ISKCON Temple or shop for local handicrafts and silver filigree work. Proceed to your onward destination via train, flight, or road, marking the end of a culturally rich and spiritually fulfilling trip to Bhubaneswar.

The menus are pre-set menus provided for breakfast/lunch/dinner on the tour as mentioned under each Tour itinerary and inclusions and exclusions as committed at the time of confirmation.
In standard/Budget category of hotels, the meals preferences are veg meals unless specified and in Deluxe/Super Deluxe and Luxury category of hotels/resort the meals are a mixture of veg and non-veg preferences.
Mostly buffet meals are served during the tour, but depending upon the less occupancy and group size Ala Carte meals may be served by the hotels. No claim can be made for the meal which guest has missed and not utilized.
📅 ITINERARY CHANGES:
For the comfort and convenience of guests, there could be some changes or amendments in the itinerary. We will try to advise you of these amendments prior to the start of the tour or on tour. In the event a guest misses any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due to delay on their part, they will not be entitled to claim a refund of the same.
The timings mentioned in the day schedule in the itinerary may vary depending upon the road conditions, particular destination visits en route, meals, climatic conditions, particular health conditions of the guests, and timings of sightseeing places and monuments.
🚌 TRANSPORT:
We normally use A/C Sedan such as Etios/Desire Innova/Crysta/Tempo Travellers/2X2 A/C Coaches for our tours depending upon the group size and preferences of the travel. The drivers of the vehicles are bound by specific rules like maximum driving hours within a day, rest period per day, etc. Clients will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel. In case any of the sightseeing schedules are missed due to delays caused by the client, the same will not be refunded to the client under any circumstances.
